A pig was shot with arrows at an animal sanctuary in Chester County, Philadelphia.
According to the vets, Bette was shot with two three-foot-long arrows. One of the arrows had gone through her, the other one was still stuck.
Fortunately, the five-year-old will make a complete recovery thanks to public donations and because luckily the arrows hadn’t touched any of her vital organs or spine.
Bette is one of the 230 animals living in the sanctuary.
