A rabbit was found was passers-by burnt and impaled on railings in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, UK.

The RSPCA was immediately called and they confirmed the white Lion Head rabbit had died victim of an abhorrent attack, reported the Manchester Evening News.

“It had obviously been someone’s pet and looked to be a beautiful little rabbit,” said RSPCA Inspector Charlotte Booker.

“It was left in quite a public place, and there were some traffic lights there so I think it had been put there to be seen. Somebody wanted to show what they had done.”

“Somebody had clearly gone to great lengths to do this and I am appealing for anybody with information regarding this dreadful act or anybody that recognises the rabbit to come forward and contact me anonymously on 0300 1234 999.”
