Gamavit is produced in glass vials, with a volume of 6, 10, 100 ml, equipped with rubber stoppers, on top of which a metal cap is put on. The drug has a red color, liquid consistency, transparency.

The product is produced in two versions – Gamavit and Gamavit Forte, different in composition. In both cases, the main active ingredients of the drug are sodium nucleinate (salt obtained from baking yeast) and placenta extract (cows and sows). However, Gamavit contains acid hydrolysate of the placenta, and Gamavit Forte contains salt extract. In addition, additional components of the drug Gamavit will be nutrient medium 199 and water, and interferon, pyruvate and sodium succinate, medium 199, water are added to the Forte.

Gamavit for cats contains vitamins, trace elements, proteins, amino acids and other biologically active substances.

Gamavit is actively used to prepare the cat's body for the birth of offspring.

• To prepare the pet for the upcoming event, starting from 60 days of carrying kittens, a pregnant cat is injected intramuscularly with Gamavit in the amount of 0.1 ml / kg once a day for three days.
• To stimulate and facilitate delivery, the drug is injected under the skin or into the muscle in a dosage of 0.5-1 ml.
• To maintain the uterus and prevent infection after the last baby is released, 0.5-1 ml of the solution is put (under the skin, into the muscle).
• For preventive purposes, the introduction of Gamavit in a dosage of 0.2 ml / kg is allowed on the 2nd, 4th and 6th days after delivery.

How to leave a newborn kitten with Gamavit

If there is a need to maintain the vitality of newborn kittens, stimulate their growth and development, it is advisable to use Gamavit Forte from the moment of birth. The drug has a beneficial effect on the visual analyzer, brain, hematopoiesis, digestion and other organ systems. The use of medication is especially important if the cat has suffered an infectious disease during pregnancy.

If you need to leave kittens that do not show signs of life after birth, Gamavit (Gamavit Forte) is administered once in a volume of 0.1-0.3 ml. You can drink it out if the kitten has shown signs of life (squeaks, moves, there is a sucking reflex).

Precautions

It is necessary to store the drug at a temperature of +4 to +20 C. Its brief transportation is allowed at temperatures above +20 C. Gamavit should not be exposed to direct sunlight; it should be kept away from children and animals.

It is forbidden to store an opened bottle, because after interacting with the air, the drug will change its properties (this will manifest itself in a change in the color of the solution). Experts say that a small puncture with a sterile needle allows you to store the medicine if the color remains the same.

It is forbidden to use the contents of the bottle if:

• the medicine has become cloudy;
• the solution turned yellowish;
• sediment formed;
• the expiration date has expired.

Important: It is forbidden to freeze Gamavit, because the medicine loses all its medicinal properties.
